Our extensive trail system connects the whole community to a shared network of parks and greenbelts and blends into the landscape for a naturally beautiful experience. Residents can explore miles of trails without ever leaving the property. Here, every route is the scenic route.

From white-tailed deer and colorful songbirds to grand live oaks and vibrant wildflowers, the Reserve is brimming with a rich variety of native plants and animals. Special observation areas are tucked in the terrain for an up-close view of wildlife throughout the property.

Fossil hunting expeditions are one of the most exciting activities at Round Mountain. This fossil rich land was once covered by an ancient ocean, and residents can discover hidden treasures in their own backyards or go on a guided dig with a local paleontologist.

Round Mountain Reserve is a part of a nationwide movement to preserve dark skies, and in our community, residents can observe a dazzling array of beautiful constellations, without any light pollution, from the comfort of their own property on the crest of Round Mountain.

Spanning more than nine million acres, the Texas Hill Country AVA is one of the largest wine-growing regions in the country, and Round Mountain is located near some of the finest wineries and tasting rooms in the region, offering residents an exciting blend of activities.
